Former child TV star Gary Coleman, who suffered intracranial brain bleeding and was on life support in the intensive care unit of a Utah hospital, passed away at the age of 42 on Friday.
Utah Valley Regional Medical Center spokeswoman Janet Frank confirmed that Coleman died of a brain hemorrhage, and said his life support was terminated on Friday morning. Coleman died at 12.05 p.m. MDT.
The actor was taken to a local hospital for treatment after a fall at his Santaquin, Utah home on Wednesday. On Thursday, Coleman became conscious for brief moments and then slipped out of consciousness throughout the day.
As of Thursday afternoon his condition was labeled as unstable. He was then put on life support which was plugged on Friday morning.
Gary Coleman was an American actor best known for his role as Arnold Jackson in the 1980s sitcom "Diff’rent Strokes". Coleman’s character was best known for uttering the phrase, "What’choo talkin’ ’bout Willis?".
A statement has been issued by Utah Valley Regional Medical Center, confirming the actor's passing: "Family members and close friends were at his side when life support was terminated. Family members express their appreciation and gratitude for the support and prayers that have been expressed for Gary and for them."
Coleman had been on life support since mid-afternoon Thursday, according to both his manager, John Alcantar, and a hospital representative.
Coleman, who suffered from a congenital kidney disease that required frequent dialysis, was hospitalized in January and Febrary after reportedly suffering seizures.
He brought back a lot of memories each time a saw him on TV. I am praying for his family.

It's sad that Gary wasn't able to call a truce with his parents before he passed. We can only hope that the best of their memories with him will always return to them and bring them joy.

I hope he can find the happiness and contentment he never seem to have been able to find in life.. .
yes MIISRAEL, that phrase that only he could say like that has given me hours of fun and laughter...Oh, and rolling his eyes and poking out that lip as only he could do also.
