I totally understanding living with someone and having to deal with the noise of someone else. In the room you rent, I have an idea: buy some construction paper that glows in the dark and cut out stars. Get some tape, hang it from the celing and at night, when things get quiet, you and your daughter can lie and look at the stars and talk about what is going to happen when you get your own place. Another method of visualization is to cut out the things you want and put them into your "Wish Album". It's a great way to keep your goals in mind, but at the same time, teach your daughter and yourself motivated. I'm not saying cut out a picture of castle in Ireland! But if you see a house you like, cut it out and put it in the book. You can call it a Wish Book or a Prayer Book. Also a great place to relax when you can't do it at home is the park or a library. Good luck with finding that place. I think the glow paper is sold at Walmart. If can't find it, use black paper and white chalk and then shine a small light on it. God Bless you girl!

Hannah - this should say...keep your daughter ad yourself motivated, not teach! Oops! Also, I like the library because not only can your daughter read in the quiet time, but people are less likely to approach you all.
