WOMEN OF GOD WHY AREN'T YOU IN MINISTRY! (199 hits)
Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:19 (AMP)
Calling all sisters of every race, color and creed! We have begun a good fight, now let’s strive to endure through the trials and tribulations of this love we call “ministry”. We are the voices of the Lord! We have birthed the word from the beginning of the foundation of this earth. We have been wonderfully made to carry a powerful message across this nation. Preaching and teaching the word of God. We have been placed in position for such a time as this!
As we look back and reflect on all the women in bible we look at the main stories that have been presented to us by the writers. We reflect on the woman with the issue of blood, and begin to relate because of our personal storms. Women of God even with your issues God can begin to use you. I believe that as we grow in ministry God takes us through a series of events to get us prepared to meet the hurting people in this world. The equipping process starts as soon as these familiar subjects hit your porch, knock on the door and just let themselves in: rape, molestation, incest, drug and alcoholism, cancer, lupus, fibromyalgia, single mothers, lack, finances, depression, loneliness, divorce, domestic violence, fear, this is just a few of those spirits that linger, but I hear the spirit of the Lord saying “ No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord” Isaiah 54:17 (KJV) He never said the weapon wouldn’t form, He said it wouldn’t prosper!
Sister-to Sister, let’s be real!. You see, the enemy seeks to devour you any way he can. He doesn’t like you, and if he can kill where the seed is supposed to grow, he’s done his job. If the enemy can cause you to abort the spiritual baby that God promised, you will begin to forfeit your destiny. Oh help me Holy Ghost! I see the revelation coming. Mighty women do you know your powerful, do you know who you belong to, do you know the dynamite power you tote on a day to day basis. Hear me now, the Kingdom of God is at hand and you have the upper hand. Glory to God. Ladies just don’t sit back and let the spiritual baby you are carrying never mature. Don’t be content sitting on a pew waiting for someone to ask you to do something. You are a servant of the Highest God. We go through so we can get through, and show someone else how we made it through. So God can get the Glory!
Ladies begin to “Spirit Walk” in those deserts in your life, challenge the wilderness, God wants to do a new thing, let the word of God begin to plant seeds and spring forth in you. Oh! watch the desolate places in your spirit be awakened. Gods’ plan, process and purpose will come forth.
Be encouraged sistas of all races, colors, and creeds. We have to set the standard Daughters of Zion. Don’t give up, be encouraged, don’t get stuck in the religious traditions of today, you’ll miss the Spirit of God.
The bible says’ but the hour cometh, and now is, when true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. St John 4:23 (KJV). Let God begin to do a “New Thing” in you.

I am in ministry Archbischop Scott--- I work part time as a Registered Nurse taking care of heart patients working nights and weekends; I am a full time mother and wife ministering to the needs of my family. I do admit that I'm not big with organized religion, but I will do better attending services because of the commandment to not forsake the assembling together of the saints. As far as doing the ministry for church or stuff like that--- I've been there and done that=== don't ever want to go that route again. Thanks so much for this very inspiring blog!

Your very welcome. I identify with your feelings, but remember that biggest ministry a woman could have is taking care of home. Be encouraged and know that there are women all over the world that need to hear your testimony of God, home and work. GBY

Thank you very much for what you have said. I'm truly blessed by your words of recognition, because many people look down on the traditional roles women play and equate working full time and running companies with success. Thanks again!
