Be Honest: Do You Text While Driving
I'm sure everyone is guilty of sending a quick text while they are driving once or twice, and I'm talking about at a stop light. There have been numerous studies claiming that texting while driving is just as dangerous as driving drunk. In fact, 28% of traffic accidents occur when people talk on cellphones or send text messages. Bans on texting have been going on all cross the country to stop the practice. Do you think texting while driving should be a crime?
I think we can all agree that this is dangerous and we should focus on a solution. But what about ladies who put make-up on in the car or people messing with their ipod. We all do these that take our eyes of the road. Should these actions be criminal too?
