The Church is a spiritual body, made up of spiritual members, having spiritual gifts and ministries and talents to be used for the spiritual building of this body. Everything in the Body is from the Head to the Body, in the Body, for the Body and for the Head, even Christ.
Every Member in the natural body must have life conveyed by blood and breath. So every member in the spiritual body must have life by the blood of Jesus and the Spirit and Breath of God. I John 1:7, 8; John 3:1-5; Revelation 5:9; I Corinthians 12:13.
Every member in the natural body has its God-ordained and set place, as it pleased the Creator in the formation of that body. Psalms 139:13-16. So every member in the spiritual Body has their God-ordained and set place as it pleases Him. I Corinthians 12:12-28.
Every member in the natural body is a living, functioning member; otherwise there is death. There are no inactive members. Matthew 25:15; Mark 13:34; Luke 19:13; Romans 12:3. So every member in the spiritual Body is to be a living, functioning member or else there is death. James 2:26.
