Jesse Jackson Says President Obama Needs to Be “More Engaged” with Blacks … and Meet with Him
(Taylor Media Services) Jesse Jackson, veteran civil rights leader and one-time lieutenant to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., suggested last week that President Obama was not spending enough time with African Americans nor meeting with their traditional civil rights leaders. Specifically, Jackson asserted that he and other Black leaders “want to engage more fully with Obama because there is a lot of unfinished business.”
Jackson told CNN’s John King that despite the election of the nation’s first African American president, “structural inequality” still plagued Black America and he appeared to suggest that Obama was not doing enough to address Black concerns. He explained that what was needed primarily was “greater investment in troubled inner city communities.”
Jackson, who first ran for president himself in 1984, did add he expected a meeting with Obama “at some point.” His comments came just days after Obama addressed the convention of the NAACP - the nation’s largest civil rights organization.
never did care for reverends, General Colin Powell is a better American.

Our Leader Baraka Hussein Obama ushered in the end of whiteChristianSupremacy, the powells, jacksons, robinsons will be the blockers of CHANGE. Many in BIA think that Our President knows BIA! A product of Kansas Christian mommy, Kenyan Muslim daddy, Indonesian Muslim childhood would never understand-whiteChristianSupremist culture. He would understand achievement, intelligence, hardwork and global thought. But to understand powell, or jackson, or whoever-he looks as the BIA crowd as servants of the culture he must Change. If you Change the Masters house the servants should follow along-unless you remember Malcolm saying, the house negros were against the burning of the house, 'our house'. I take an Obama or a Hussein over a jackson anyday.

Brother Rob, I don't care too much for Reverends either, but I do respect the God they are supposively representing. Brother Clark you are so on point with Jackson showing his small mindedness with his thinking that a sitting President of country has to bow down to him. What an overly inflated ego Jackson has! I wonder if he said the same of the former president? Probably not...
