What's up with the Police in Tucson, Arizona? (334 hits)
Just recently, my family who lives in Tucson Arizona, was terrorize by teenage gang bangers, they are known to cause much trouble in the neighborhood.
My grandson, was jumped by the gang on his way home from school, he suffered major injuries, lost a tooth and bruises all over his body. Now, the police was called and they did nothing. They had one of the guys in custody, but let him go, they treated my son, the father, like he was the criminal instead of the ones who did the damage.
Later after, the police left, the gang bangers drove back by their house later after the police had gone, threatening to kill the whole family. My son, does not own a weapon, and cannot protect his family just in case. The Tucson Police stated that they could do nothing. That's crazy, they would not even let my family press charges, they only took pictures of my grandsons face and that's it.
My grandson is not in any gangs and is a good kid. What is wrong with these punks? and i use that word strongly.
My family is muti-cultural and I wonder if this was a typical white family what would have been done. Arizona police force is known to be prejudice I was told by a cop friend that its full of the undercover clansmen. So I am asking for prayer for my family and any suggestions on what they can do. My son, had his wife and kids removed from the house for their protection and does not know how long he should keep them away from the house.
A refusal to allow charges to be pressed could constitute a violation of civil rights, as such the Justice Department could press charges or at least apply pressure on Tucson PD. Start with a call to the local FBI office. Also, spend a little time studying the simple and felony assault statutes; they are less likely to blow you off if you know what you're talking about. I'm not a lawyer, but I can point you in the right direction if you need help getting started.
