Hearing the news that Michael Jackson was dead threw me for a loop, I was just took the time to open up my email, when I saw the news flash on Yahoo.
Michael Jackson was one of my favorite childhood singers, he is the Elvis Presley, the real King. The first to come with the thriller video that amazed and was the forerunner in music video bonanza.
This has been a week of great people that America has lost. Ed McMann who I also loved to hear. Farah Fawcett who was one of my favorite Charlie Angels girls.
Looking forward in seeing the tributes of these great people. To the family of Michael Jackson and to Diana Ross who I know he was very close too. My prayers and the prayer of millions are with you.
I was also shocked as well when I opened up my email to CNN Breaking News stated that Micheal had gone into cardiac arrest. Being a cardiac nurse who works in the CCU (Coronary Care Unit), I knew that to be bad news. I immediately got on the phone to call my husband who did his best to encourage me, but while I was talking to him I was looking on line for other reports. It was just too much to see the head lines that he was dead. It just takes your breath away.
