Yes it is important to pamper yourself. If you feel ill and have sick time use it. Don't come to work sick. You cannot do your job properly anyway and if you have a cold or the flu you will infect your fellow co-workers. Today I am home sick with menstrual cramps. I am just going to relax and lay down as much as possible. Thank God I rarely get colds or headaches but illness or pain is your body telling you to slow down relax and take some quiet time. Also given my job requires a lot of standing I get a pedicure at least once a month. Because of my work I must take care of my feet, plus I like my feet and toes to look good for the summer! I also get my eyebrows waxed, take care of my skin and hair. I Love Health Spas and one day when I can once again afford to I'm going back to the New Age Health Spa in Neversink, NY. I had a great time there around 1996 and wish to return. Also I would not mind going to Canyon Ranch or something like it. I plan to save for a trip to visit friends in Georgia next year and perhaps my girlfriend knows of a Day Spa there we can both go to. I look forward to being fawned over and pampered totally!! Another goal I have is within the next 10 years to spend an entire summer at a writers camp somewhere in the US.
