Somewhere along the way they said you were destined for great things, but who’s to say what exactly those great things are. Sometimes they happen by coincident, and sometimes intentionally, but life never fails to take you on some uncharted journey. Along this journey, things that you were so sure about become uncertain, and uncertainties become sure fate. It is these ups and downs that shape you and these twists and turns that mold your very being. At your highest point of success, ecstasy, or whatever it may be, you are expected to remain humble. At your lowest point, no matter how rough the road becomes, you are expected to see things through to the finish with your head held high. It is all too simple to enjoy life when things are going well and to strive toward those great things you are destined for—whatever they be. It is when your world becomes cluttered with burdens and disparities that it’s hard to see what may be on the other side or what the next day may hold. Giving up or giving in to such things would be logical, because some things you just have to let go. But quitting has never been an option for me, yet ridding myself of things that are unnecessary is a must as I travel this uncharted path to greater heights. And as I race through life, my success is never unshared because I leave my hand behind me stretched out to my brothers and sisters.
