Plastic Surgeon Jan Adams Loses License to Practice in California (450 hits)
(Taylor Media Services) Dr. Jan Adams, the plastic surgeon who operated on the mother of Hip Hop star Kanye West the day before she died in 2007, has been forced to give up his license to practice medicine in California. The State Medical Board had brought charges against him because of two criminal drunk driving convictions.
Adams admitted to the charges against him and thus avoided court proceedings. No charges were ever brought against Adams in the death of Donda West but he is expected to spend a year in jail on one of the drunken driving charges. Adams can seek reinstatement in three years.
