This poem is dedicated to the memory of our Sister Katherine, a former member of our BWC community. I have only been a member of this site for 3 months, and I became aware that there were some community members who did not do well by her. And while I have never knew the Sister, her spirit lives in me too. Sister Katherine, if you're out there and got anything left in you, come back to the world. Remember, you still have Brothers & Sisters who value your insight.
STAY STRONG By Sister Siebra Muhammad
Life can be tough on all of us, but lately your sun won't shine. Your going through so many things, that are way worse then mine. But look how far you've made it, and look at the friends you've made. I hope you realize how much we miss you, the memory will never fade. Your unique and so full of talent, don't you dare let it all go to waste. So many wonderful things about you, that you couldn't ever be placed. You are but a lone seagull, but you soar with beauty and grace. Your intelligence is so stunning, the icing is your beautiful face. Sometimes what others say is important, because what I want to say is all true. You're a great person and friend, you're special and there's no one like you. Steel all the sun for yourself, because it's each heart you've stole. Stay strong because you have the courage, and smile because it brightens each soul.
so why didn't you all come to her defense when she was attacked by the two men on this site? don't talk about me when I am gone. love me when I am here. she's fine..there are other WONDERFUL social networking sites for sisters---and ONYX is one and Sista2sista, sistatalk etc.

I admit I did not know the sister until after your comment on the letter I wrote. It shocked me when I learned what those men had done. She's forever in my prayers.
I DIDNT KNOW HER BUT THIS POEM IS SOMETHING DEFINETLY THAT IS HEARTFELT AND CAN BE FELT THROUGHOUT ALL PEOPLE'S HEARTS!

I would always go to her sites a lot because I loved her art work...I never knew that she was having any kind of a major problem until after she had left. I know she had told me about some of her work being on youtube and this is where I thought she had gone. I did not know or I would have come to her aide expecially as I repeat, I did so love her art work and I so miss it and her very much.
