UX Product Designer - Sr Consultant
As a Senior UX Consultant for the Deloitte AI and Data, you will be tasked with solving complex challenges through elegant, user-centered design solutions. Our ideal candidate is a versatile design generalist with deep expertise in interaction design. Work you'll do

As a Senior Consultant, UX Design on the AI and Data team, you will be responsible for:

o Design user-centered experiences for data-driven products and platforms, translating complex requirements into intuitive workflows, interfaces, and interactions.

o Plan and conduct user research activities, including user interviews, focus groups, usability testing, and information architecture exercises.

o Synthesize research findings into design deliverables such as personas, user journeys, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications.

o Create scalable interface designs for analytics, dashboards, and artificial intelligence-enabled experiences, including interactions with models, prompts, recommendations, and data outputs.

o Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to deliver configurable, maintainable designs aligned to client technology capabilities, accessibility standards, and brand guidelines.

The team

Deloitte's AI and Data practice helps organizations design and deliver data-driven, digital experiences that support business transformation. Teams work across strategy, design, data, and engineering to create products and platforms that are useful, scalable, and aligned to user needs. In this role, you would collaborate with cross-functional professionals to shape intuitive experiences for analytics and AI-enabled solutions.

Qualifications Required:

o Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Visual Design, Psychology, Cognitive Science, Human Factors, Computer Science, or a specified field

o 5+ years of experience in user experience design, product design, interaction design, or user experience research

o 3+ years of experience designing and prototyping digital products in Figma, including building and maintaining design systems or component libraries

o Experience conducting user research, usability testing, information architecture development, user flow creation, and accessible interface design aligned to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)

o Experience with at least one design or prototyping platform such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD

o Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

o Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred:

o Experience designing user experiences for analytics, dashboard, or data visualization products

o Experience designing interfaces for artificial intelligence-enabled products or features

o Experience creating high-fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes, and detailed design specifications

o Experience working with software engineers and data engineers in product delivery environments
