High School English Teacher
The English Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging and rigorous instruction to high school students in alignment with district curriculum, Pennsylvania academic standards, and the educational mission of the district. The successful candidate will foster critical thinking, communication, reading, and writing skills while creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student achievement and growth.
Qualifications & Requirements Valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate: English 7–12.
Prior high school classroom teaching experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of secondary English curriculum and instructional best practices.
Excellent classroom management, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
Demonstrated ability to support student achievement in a collaborative educational environment.
