Job Description The University of Notre Dame Operations, Events, and Safety (UOES) division is currently hiring for temporary/on-call Laundry Attendants in St. Michael's Laundry. The UOES Division oversees the University's event management, hospitality, and customer service functions, while also supporting student life, academic initiatives, research activities, and annual milestone celebrations.
Laundry Attendant
Key Responsibilities:
To process incoming soiled and outgoing clean laundry in accordance with set laundry quality and quantity standards
Be willing and able to be cross trained in a variety of work areas such as soil sorting, drying, finishing, and assembling
Will be trained in both automated and manual laundry processes using a variety of industrial laundry equipment
Will be trained to follow all safety procedures.
Qualifications
Education Qualifications: High school diploma or GED
Experience: 1 to 6 months
Degree Qualifications:
Skill Qualifications: Ability to calculate pieces or pounds processed. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Additional Information Pay Rate: $17.50/hr
