Job Summary (Purpose and Function):
Full-time faculty member in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. This individual will provide clinicalNeuropsychologicalservicesthat may include mental health screeningsandpsychological assessments.
Accountabilities:
Administer tests for intelligence, memory, attention, language, andsensorimotorfunctions.
Evaluate disorders like dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, stroke, brain tumors, and ADHD
Develop cognitive rehabilitation plans and, in some cases, provide psychotherapy.
Prepare detailed, evidence-based reports to guide medical treatment.
Collaborate with neurologists, neurosurgeons, and other medical staff.
Provide supervision for post-doctoral psychology fellows
Attend multidisciplinary team meetings
Identifypatients requiring psychiatric evaluation

Minimum Qualifications (Essential Requirements):
Education: Psy.D. or Ph.D.; valid State of Florida Licensed Psychologist
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Completion of afellowshipwith specialized training in Neuropsychology.
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills for patient care and data interpretation.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred
