Groundskeeper (Summer Help) - Decatur, IL Groundskeeper (Summer Help) – Decatur, IL Position Type: Seasonal, Part-Time
Position Summary Assist with the maintenance and landscaping of outdoor grounds across all ADM office locations. In addition, assist with furniture deliveries and colleague moves. This role supports a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and use stairs for extended periods
Capable of heavy lifting
Willingness to work in varying and adverse weather conditions
Minimum Qualifications
Successful completion of a company background check
Valid driver’s license or ability to legally operate a motor vehicle in a work environment
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Key Responsibilities
Assist with landscape installations, hedge trimming, and pruning
Perform mowing, trash removal, and weed control
Operate equipment such as wide-area mowers, push mowers, and string trimmers
Repair fences and spread mulch
Trim trees and maintain outdoor areas
Primarily Monday-Friday, 5a-1p
Overtime occasionally required
Additional Duties
Support special events (e.g., delivery, set-up/tear down, etc.)
Assist with furniture moving as needed
