GDIT is seeking aCloudDeveloperin support of theDefense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Global Video Services (GVS) business area to enable the integration of video services into the Department of Defense.This is a hybrid role, and selected candidate will be expected to provide a combination of remote (20%) and onsite (80%) support in Chantilly, VA or Fort Meade, Maryland.
MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
Designing, documenting, implementing, andmaintainingenterprise Cloud Application capabilities to include IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings for our DoW customers.
Design and development of new software products.
Provide guidance and leadership to the development team on designing complex software systems.
Acts as a high-level technical expert and addresses issues relating to systems integration and compatibility.
Works with project managers, developers, and end users to ensure application designs meet business requirements.
Estimates size and schedule for software enhancements.
Reviews existing programs andassistsin making refinements, reducingoperatingtime and improving current techniques.
Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging,and documentation.
Instructs, directs, and checks the work of other task personnel.
Responsible for quality assurance review and the evaluation of existing and new software products.
WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED (Required) Bring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Cloud Developer must have:Education: Bachelors Degree in related technical field.Experience: 8+ years of related experience.Security Clearance: Minimum of an active Secret security clearance.Certification: CompTIA Security+ or similar for IAT Level II 8570 certification Technical skills:
Expertisein developing,maintainingand contributing to technical and process documentation.
Successful candidates must have a strong understanding of DoW Cloud governance and application architecturesrequiredto implement cloud services for DoW customers.Specific focus is onuser interface development forgovernment off-the-shelf interfaces.
Expertisewith Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Office 365managementand configuration (Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint, Office Suite,AzureAD).
Experience in DoW Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide.
Strong knowledge of modern UI frameworks and libraries.
Experience inagile methodologies, especially related to release scheduling, andutilizingtools such as JIRA.
Experience inDevSecOps.
Proficiencyindeveloping and executing test plans.
