MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As a Operations Assistant Manager, the work youll do at GDIT will be impactful to the GDIT AI and Data organization.
Manage and coordinate internal AI/Data project cycles
Work closely with senior management to improve team efficiency and execution
Track tasks, timelines, risks, and priorities to keep projects moving
Streamline workflows and support process improvements across the AI & Data organization
Use AI tools every day to automate, research, summarize, and enhance team productivity
Create clear communications, reports, and presentations for leadership
Support crossfunctional collaboration with AI, Data, Engineering, and Security stakeholders
Act as an internal advocate for responsible and effective AI use
WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED Bring your project/task management expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Operations Assistant Manager must have:
Education: Bachelor's degree
Experience: 5+ years of related experience; with 1+ years being direct project or program management experience
Technicalskills: Comfortable using AI tools daily and discussing high-level AI/ML concepts. Familiarity with Agile or similar methodologies.
