This role is within Financial Solutions program to partner with other programs to implement SAP Order Management as an enterprise O&M system. This leader will own end to end technical deliveryfrom solution design and build through cutover, hypercare, and steady state operationswhile ensuring reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of the platform. The ideal candidate blends strong SAP functional expertise with people leadership, vendor management, and modern service management (Agile/ITIL/DevOps) practices.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>As Manager, Software Engineering, you will be responsible for the following:<br> Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders.<br> Lead the end to end implementation of the SAP Order Management solution including fit to standard, solution design, configuration, extensions, integrations, data migration, testing, and cutover.<br> Drive platform architecture decisions in partnership with Infrastructure, Security, Platform Engineering, and Integration teams to ensure scalability, performance, and resilience.<br> Establish and run the program backlogs (Epics/Features/Stories), sprint ceremonies, dependency management, and cross team coordination with key stakeholders and upstream/downstream systems.<br> Ensure solutions align with Mastercards engineering and data principles, and technical policies. <br> Own non functional requirements (availability, performance SLAs, security, observability) and UAT/Business readiness.<br> Oversee data quality, controls, and compliance (SOX, audit readiness, segregation of duties, role design, access reviews) in collaboration with Security/GRC.<br> Ensure alignment with cybersecurity standards, data privacy policies, and disaster recovery/business continuity objectives.<br> Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability with clear runbooks and SLOs/SLIs.<br> Drive the adoption of best practices in software engineering, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD). <br> Mentor and guide engineers across various experience levels, helping them grow technically and improving their software engineering skills.<br><br>Skills and Experiences:<br> Deep understanding of managing and fulfilment of Order, pricing, integration of Orders with third-party billing applications, importing data from customer facing application.<br> Proven track record leading end to end SAP implementations (fit to standard, extensions, integrations, data migration, testing, cutover, hypercare) and steady state support.<br> Minimum 7 years of SAP technical and functional experience/expertise in Order to Cash: pricing, order management, condition contracts, EDI and billing<br> Experience in global rollouts (multi company, multi currency, tax jurisdictions), and data migration (CVI/business partners, customers/materials, open orders).<br> Experience with SAP BTP (extensions, eventing), Integration Suite/APIs, and integrations with CRM/Commerce, Tax (e.g., Vertex/Avalara), Payments, Logistics/3PL, and Finance.<br> Proven experience as a software engineer and technical lead, with a strong focus on delivering large-scale software projects in an agile environment. <br> Hands-on with Agile/Scrum and ITIL (incident, problem, change, release).<br> Excellent written & verbal communication skills required with the ability to effectively communicate & develop strong relationships within a multinational organization.<br> Ability to quickly engage and influence business partners driving change in the organization<br><br>Qualifications:<br> Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.<br> Certifications: SAP (S/4HANA Sales), ITIL, SAFe/Agilepreferred.<h3></h3><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>Mastercard is a merit-based, inclusive, equal opportunity employer that considers applicants without regard to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, disabled or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more.
