Job Description
Provide leadership, oversight, training, and guidance to Operations Packaging technicians while performing set up activities and achieve vertical start-up. Focus on efficient quality driven Mechanical setups.
Responsibilities
Provide leadership, Training and guidance while performing set up activities
Provide Intermediate frontline troubleshooting while coming out of setups and during schedule operations
Intermediate level Antares and other vision systems
Participates in major asset rebuilds with Maintenance and Vendors
Independently perform low level Maintenance PMs
Assist with Maintenance tasks including but not limited to; PMs, troubleshooting, repair, and rebuilds of tooling, Capper chucks, HAPA and other packaging equipment
Participates during Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis.
Accurately documents all work hours and all Maintenance/Setup activities in CMMS. (Maximo)
Conforms with requirements outlined in the MEP program
Ability to complete full setups and train others on Multiple value streams (Blister, bottle, or syringe
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Mechanical certificate required or a minimum of 2 years of experience in an industry related field. Knowledge and ability to apply proper hand tools in an industrial setting
Proficient in MAXIMO and POMS
Knowledge of packaging equipment and set up tooling
Knowledge of related cGMP requirements and applicable safety regulations
Ability to accurately use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, scales).
Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows)
Leadership qualities with emphasis on motivating others on a cross functional team
Strong troubleshooting skills
