<div id="details-info" class="tab-pane active fr-view" style="margin:2px"> <dl> <dt><h2>Class Description</h2></dt> <dd><p></p><p style="margin: 0">The purpose of this position is to assist with the operations of the Office of Student Engagement.</p></dd> <dt><h2>Minimum Requirements</h2></dt> <dd><p></p><p style="margin: 0">High School Diploma/GED and one year experience working with the public in a customer service position is preferred. Proven capability to manage projects independently; excelling interpersonal skills, and the ability to solve problems independently are required. Able to work extra hours during peak periods and fill in for absences as needed as assigned schedule may include non-standard hours. </p></dd> <dt><h2>Class Specific Essential Duties</h2></dt> <dd><p></p><ol style="margin-left: -0.25in; margin-bottom: 3pt"><li>Assist with all co-curricular programs in support of the Office of Student Engagement including planning and implementation.</li><li>Assist with oversight of clubs and organizations meetings and events.</li><li>Maintain the pantry including record keeping and inventory.</li><li>Process payments and deposits of office-based events, fundraisers and memberships.</li><li>Provide office management oversight including delegation of daily job tasks, ordering of supplies, etc. </li><li>Assist with Student Engagement communications including social media, texting, flyers, student portal, etc.</li><li>Correspond regularly with the Assistant Director to ensure Student Engagement needs are met. </li><li>Perform administrative tasks, as needed, such as but not limited to as answering phone calls and emails, processing information and documents, maintaining filing systems, record keeping and managing correspondence. </li></ol><p style="margin: 0">Essential job duties are intended to be examples of duties and are not intended to be all inclusive.
