Join us in developing treatments, finding cures, and pioneering the path from lab to life while championing patients every step of the way.<br /> </p><h2>Learn more at <a href="https://www.jnj.com/innovative-medicine" target="_blank"><span>https://www.jnj.com/innovative-medicine</span></a></h2><p></p><p>We are searching for the best talent for <b>Senior Manager, Bioethics, Policy, &amp; Partnerships (BPP)</b>.<br /> </p><p><b>Purpose:</b> The <b>Sr. Manager, Bioethics, Policy &amp; Partnerships (BPP)</b> will report to the Director, Bioethics, Policy, &amp; Partnerships (BPP) and will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end processes and systems for the BPP team. </p><p></p><p><b>You will be responsible for:</b></p><p><b>Manages Bioethics Activity Tracking &amp; Archival:</b></p><ul><li>Facilitates the tracking and archival of bioethics-related activities, including consultations, presentations, training, policy development and implementation, and projects.</li><li>Ensures timely follow-up and tracking of bioethics-related activities, including status of activity, completion of action items, and collection and documentation of final outcomes and stakeholder feedback.</li><li>Partners with other BPP colleagues to drive continuous process improvement through the generation, analysis, and consolidation of bioethics-related metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) into the overall BPP Metrics/KPI reporting.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Supports Bioethics Operational Activities:</b></p><ul><li>With guidance from the Director, BPP and Sr. Director, OCMO (Office of Chief Medical Officer) Policy Strategy &amp; Development, reviews J&amp;J commenting opportunities to determine if comments should be requested from BPP-related committees, e.g., JJBC (J&amp;J Bioethics Committee), JJCAT (J&amp;J Committee for Advanced Therapies), etc. and/or OCMO representatives.  Facilitates collection, collation, and timely follow up with J&amp;J commenting leads.</li><li>Partners with the Director, BPP to develop initial presentations and draft meeting summaries for BPP-related committees. </li><li>Supports the Director, BPP in communicating with teams requesting Committee Consultations to ensure pre-read materials are prepared and distributed to JJBC members in advance of the meeting.</li><li>Develops JJBC Newsletter and distributes to JJBC members and BPP LT following review by the Director, BPP.</li><li>Partners with the Director, BPP to maintain materials, such as committee charters, templates, reference materials, etc. for BPP-related committees, e.g.,  JJBC, JJCAT, DT CoP(Data Transparency Community of Practice), etc.</li><li>Partners with Communications team to facilitate updates to the Bioethics Hub content and communications.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Supports Bioethics-related Training Program:</b></p><ul><li>Partners with administrative support on the scheduling of bioethics training activities, including workshops, mentoring, ambassador program, and Bioethics Exchange program.</li><li>Provides training administrative support for the set-up of learning management system processes and materials to support bioethics-related training activities.</li><li>Supports Director, BPP in the maintenance and continuous improvement of the bioethics-related training and education program processes and materials. </li></ul><p></p><p><b>Facilitates Bioethics Mentoring Circle cohorts:</b></p><ul><li>Manages communications with J&amp;J employees who have completed the Bioethics Workshop to drive participation in the Bioethics Mentoring Circle. Maintains documentation of past/current mentee cohort participants and future waiting list.</li><li>Supports roll-out and expansion of the bioethics mentoring circle program into other global regions, e.g. Asia Pacific, Latin America, Europe.</li><li>Partners with administrative support on scheduling of mentoring circle meetings. </li><li>Partners with mentee cohort participants and mentors to identify timing and topics for Bioethics Mentoring Circle meetings.</li><li>Partners with mentors to support the development/update and sharing of topic-related presentations and case studies in advance of mentoring meetings.</li><li>Provides administrative support for set-up and maintenance of the learning management system modules for each mentee cohort.</li><li>Maintains library of bioethics-related case studies and topics for use in future mentoring circle cohorts.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Supports cross-BPP activities:</b></p><ul><li>Supports BPP-related benchmarking and monitoring of the external landscape. </li><li>Supports Director, BPP in the tracking of BPP goals and objectives by obtaining regular status updates from BPP leadership team members</li><li>Partners with BPP leadership and Communications team as requested by leadership to support messaging for BPP-related activities. </li></ul><h2></h2><h2><b>Qualifications / Requirements:</b></h2><h2></h2><h2><b>Education: </b>A Bachelor’s degree is required. A Master’s degree is strongly preferred.</h2><h2></h2><h2><b>Experience and Skills Required: </b></h2><ul><li>A minimum of 5 years of increasing business experience with a pharmaceutical/biotech/MedTech company is required.</li><li>Previous R&amp;D/scientific experience required.</li><li>Travel: Anticipated 5% regional or international.</li></ul><h2></h2><h2><b>Experience and Skills Preferred:</b></h2><ul><li>Demonstrated ability to develop as well as implement work product/documents within an R&amp;D setting is strongly preferred.</li><li>Highly proficient in working in a team environment, including leading without authority and facilitating a team to deliver outcomes is preferred.</li><li>Highly organized and meticulous; prior project management experience preferred.</li><li>Well-developed interpersonal, networking and oral and written communication skills; skilled in careful communication and sensitive matters is preferred.</li><li>Experience on a product development team is highly preferred.</li><li>Consistent track record of identifying, quantifying, and mitigating risk in a balanced manner, so as to meet ethical, legal and compliance standards and business objectives is preferred.</li></ul><h2></h2><p>#LI-Hybrid</p><p></p><p>The expected base pay range for this position is $122,000.00 - $212,750.00.<br /> </p><p>The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year.
