<div id="details-info" class="tab-pane active fr-view" style="margin:2px"> <dl> <dt><h2>Class Description</h2></dt> <dd><p></p><p style="margin: 0">The purpose of this class is to provide technical and administrative support of hardware and software assets, from planning and procurement to end of life, across the college.</p></dd> <dt><h2>Minimum Requirements</h2></dt> <dd><p></p><p style="margin: 0;">High School diploma/GED, candidates currently enrolled in college studying Information Technology or Associate’s Degree in Information Technology preferred. Experience supporting technology, tracking assets, and generating reports preferred. </p></dd> <dt><h2>Class Specific Essential Duties</h2></dt> <dd><p></p><ol style="margin-left: -0.25in; margin-bottom: 3pt"><li>Initiate, design and develop asset reports to meet specific needs of groups and individuals.</li><li>Collaborate with all areas of IT to maintain and expand a database of asset information.</li><li>Perform inventory checks and reconcile newly received IT assets against purchase orders.</li><li>Record inventory information supporting the full lifecycle of assets.</li><li>Work with other members of IT to process and document the disposal of assets that reached end-of-life.</li><li>Participate in special projects related to hardware and software asset management.</li></ol></dd> </dl>
