Android Developer

Work you'll do/Responsibilities
Develop and maintain custom Android code for ordering capabilities within the In Stock application
Build and enhance mobile ordering workflows that allow users to update existing orders and place additional orders
Collaborate with backend and product teams to integrate APIs and ensure end-to-end functionality and data consistency
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve mobile defects; improve performance, stability, and usability
Follow mobile engineering best practices for code quality, testing, and maintainability
Contribute to technical documentation and support release readiness activities as needed
Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management
Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes

Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
6+ years of proven Android development experience
Experience developing and supporting custom enterprise applications, ideally in ordering, inventory, or retail operations domains
Strong knowledge of architecture design patterns and software design patterns with practical implementation experience
Hands-on experience with application observability (monitoring, logging, metrics, alerting; tracing a plus)
Proven ability to provide technical guidance (mentoring, review leadership, and solution direction) within a delivery team

Demonstrated technical leadership across teams and stakeholders
