Department Overview
Motorola Solutions’ fixed video portfolio represents a powerhouse fusion of AI-driven intelligence and industrial-grade durability, unified under a single mission-critical ecosystem. Avigilon serves as the high-intelligence flagship, offering end-to-end cloud and on-premise solutions (Unity and Alta) that leverage advanced neural networks for proactive features like Appearance Search™ and object classification. In contrast, Pelco provides rugged, specialized versatility, delivering open-platform hardware that excels in extreme or hazardous environments while maintaining seamless compatibility with third-party systems. By integrating these brands with Motorola’s broader communication tools, such as MOTOTRBO radio alerts and Orchestrate workflows, the portfolio transforms video from a passive recording tool into a proactive, "Safety Reimagined" engine that empowers operators to detect, verify, and act on threats with unprecedented speed and accuracy.
