Marketing Specialist (Japanese Language) – Contract / Contingent Role
Nomura SRI Innovation Center (NSIC) Location: Flexible (U.S.-based preferred)
SRI International is seeking an experienced Marketing Specialist to support the Nomura SRI Innovation Center (NSIC) on a contract basis. This role will execute marketing and communications initiatives that increase NSIC’s visibility and impact across industry, innovation, and research communities.
The ideal candidate is fluent in Japanese, has strong B2B and digital marketing experience, and is comfortable translating complex technology and research into clear, compelling content. This is not a full-time employee role and will be engaged as a contingent worker or independent contractor.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Execute marketing and communications plans across digital, PR, and sales channels
Develop and manage content for websites, social media, email, and campaigns
Collaborate with NSIC leadership, SRI marketing, and external partners
Manage campaigns, content calendars, and performance reporting (SEO, analytics, engagement)
Qualifications
Qualifications
3–6 years of B2B marketing experience
Professional fluency in Japanese (required)
Experience with digital marketing tools and analytics
Background in technology, innovation, or research environments preferred
U.S. Citizenship / U.S. Person strongly preferred
