This is a Contract - To - Hire role on-site in St. Paul!
Responsibilities:
Invoice Processing:
Receive, review, and validate invoices and check requests.
Organize, code, and match invoices accurately.
Enter and upload invoices into the accounting system efficiently.
Schedule and set up invoices for payment runs.
Payment Processing:
Prepare and execute electronic payments and transfers.
Manage and perform regular check runs.
Record transactions in journals, ledgers, and other financial records.
Reconcile accounts payable transactions to ensure accuracy.
Vendor Management:
Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments.
Address and resolve invoice discrepancies or issues promptly.
Communicate with vendors and respond to inquiries effectively.
Maintain and update vendor files as needed.
Expense Reports:
Process employee expense reports efficiently.
Review and audit expense reports for compliance with company policies.
Prepare reconciliations and reports as required.
Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience.
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
