Infrastructure Engineer - Direct Hire or Contract to Hire
Location: Bloomington, MN (On-site) Salary: Up to $120,000 annually
We are seeking an innovative, dedicated, "Infrastructure Engineer" infrastructure professional to join our team.
Primary Responsibilities
Maintain an on-premises virtualized datacenter environment (~130 Windows servers).
Monitor and maintain SAN storage, system backups, and Active Directory services.
Provide 2nd-level technical support for desktop support analysts and other project work.
Assist with cloud initiatives, including Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Azure AD, Intune Mobile Device Management, and Azure Virtual Desktop.
Develop PowerShell scripting for automation and operational efficiencies.
Must-Have Skills
PowerShell Scripting: Strong proficiency in scripting for automation and task management.
Windows Systems Administration: Expertise in managing and maintaining Windows Server environments.
VMware Experience: Hands-on experience with VMware virtualization, including vSphere ESXi and vCenter.
Required Skills and Experience
Familiarity with primary software vendors, Microsoft and VMware.
Provide backup support for network operations, including firewalls, internet proxy/gateways, TLS certificates, and remote access VPNs (extensive networking background not required).
Experience with desktop virtualization tools such as Citrix or VMware Horizon.
Exposure to Linux operating systems is a plus.

Salary: Up to $120,000 annually (depending on experience).
Work Location: On-site in Bloomington, MN. Hybrid options may be available after the initial on-site period.
Additional Requirements: Occasional visits to the Shakopee datacenter (Cyxtera MP2).
