Lawrence G. Williams joined HBCU Connect as the Vice President of Online Operations in May of 2005. Williams brings 10+ years of experience in research and development of Internet related technology and online marketing methodologies to the company.
Before joining HBCU Connect, Williams served as a Consultant for 5 years. Among his clients were the State of Ohio, The Ohio State University, the Interhack Corporation, and Microsoft.
Prior to working as a consultant, Williams served as a Lead Software Engineer at Lucent Technologies. Significant accomplishments were the design and development of a real-time, web-based system to track global product transfers and a real-time, web-based system to track manufacturing metrics in the midwest region. Williams also was integral in re-architecting and automating many of the manufacturing systems.
Williams hold a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and Engineering with a specialization in Software Systems Engineering from The Ohio State University.
