The first Mayweather Promotions event that Brandy worked on was the Paul Wall and Lloyd Banks concert in Grand Rapids, MI where she sold raffle tickets and assisted with artists' riders. Her hard work was noticed and from there she went on to assist with Money Mayweather weekend in Las Vegas in the summer of 2007 where she did anything from drive talent from point A to point B to taking money at the events. Not to mention that she paid her own way t from Rogers Arkansas where she Interned with Colgate-Palmolive just to prove that she was eager to learn.
From Money Mayweather weekend she went on to help with several events during her senior year of college. In May of 2008 she was offered an executive assistant position with Mayweather Enterprises which is composed of Mayweather Music, Mayweather Promotions, Philthy Rich Records and The Floyd Mayweather Foundation. Her biggest contribution to date came with the Floyd Mayweather Retirement/4th of July Weekend where she was instrumental in planning and executing 4 events in 2 days. Brandy sought out venues, set up walk thrus for security and the Mayweather team, scouted locations 2 weeks prior to the events, produced a local talent show, and coordinated travel for over 100 people with Bonnie Tobias of Zell Travel. Overall the event ended up being one of the most successful events Grand Rapids had ever seen.
Brandy is continuously learning new things from the different people she meets and applying those things to her day to day life. From assisting Ludacris and Chaka Zulu of DTP on a music video to talking to Terry Lewis (flight time) about music she knows there is always something to learn and that the possibilities are endless.
