Giving Your Kids a Global View Posted on 05-09-2010

I think it's important to give kids a global view.  Particularly kids of color.  The playing field isn't level, so we need to keep up and stay in, no - win - the race.  I also buy in to President Obama's initiative to get everyone to start thinking about the beauty of the environment and actively enjoying the outdoors as evidenced by the recent White House Conference on America's Great Outdoors, just like I buy in to the First Lady's Let's Move! initiative that gets our kids to live healthy lifestyles with lots of physical activity.  Don't you remember rushing to get home before dark because you were having so much fun outside?  The over use of tecnology has definitely changed the way kids play.  How do you help give your kids a global view?  How do you help your kids appreciate the environment?  How do you encourage your kids to lead a healthy and fit lifestyle?
