Mu Theta Alpha Incorporated was founded in Bladensburg, Maryland on October 17, 2008. Mu Theta Alpha Inc. is a sorority that believes in serving the people while demonstrating leadership, and exceling in service. Originally a seed from a youth organization, Mu Theta Alpha has opened its doors to women of all over the world.
Mu Theta Alpha Sorority Inc. is a sorority that promotes etiquette, leadership, community service, poetic expression, and unity among all women. For MTA, is a sorority that will empower, improve, and enhance women in society.
In MTA we are strong believers in sisterhood, service, and grace. It is our mission to bring ALL women of sizes, colors, creeds, talents, and tongues together and make the education atmosphere, community, and world a better place by providing educational inspirational services to those that are in need.
