Coalition of Students Strengthening Families is a student organization that brings together students of different educational backgrounds to work toward the common goal of strengthening families. The idea is to promote collaboration between students of marriage and family therapy, health care, social work, and any other field in which overall effectiveness can be increased through concerted efforts to address marriage and familial issues.
The goals of the Coalition of Students Strengthening Families are: (1) to provide a social and professional network for students in health related fields, (2) to promote informational activities to increase awareness and practical use of marriage and family therapy, and (3) to serve as a liaison between students, professionals and the community.
