Bring it people! It is real, it is happening as we speak and it affecting a life and/or family each and every day. We often talk about men on the DL. What about women. Lets be real. You know you are out there. Who are you? Educate us please. We are always focused on men who have ruined their families, etc., but hardly anyone talk about the women who are doing the same thing. Come out of your protective closets and speak up. We are waiting!
Ms. Vanest, you have a view point that's interesting, and a attitude that i like to hear about. I am not one of those women, and have never been. I am somewhat of a poet, hobbist, social worker..and i have learned, that the worst are drug addicted/mostly heroine abusers; originally where that terminology down low originated. And many young girls- adults, from those type of women.
The other i've learned, are some young adult females that have been encouraged by peer pressures...entertainment industry depictions, i.e. jennifer lopez's (her movie depicting lesbianism)..and the experimental drug use amongst teenagers../esctasy type drug use.
My attitude with it is this...the hateful ghetto educated, that looks nice, encouraging the unsuspecting better back-ground..who they look too, to shame. The other is encouraging a drug addiction to have them partake in such choice. Which is disgraceful.
I am very much a spiritual person, and in my daily walk amongst the woes of today, its a problem..very much again, amongst very troubled teenagers and substance abusers.
I believe this DL problem is serious today. Women today must understand, their bodies are created for men only. The minds of many women are being blinded by TV and association today. But if women would come back, under the covering of God, Repent from their Sins of this World, Seek the Face of God and His pattern for their personal life, all "Sin" can and will be forgiven.
