A U. S. student was arrested on January 22, 2016 by North Korea for allegedly committing a "hostile act" against the regime. The student is identified as Otto Frederick Warmbier. Warmbier was touring with a tour group, but news reported his real aim was to destroying Korea with a tacit connivance of the U.S. government and under its control. Warmbier was arrested with saying he was acting under the acquiescence and control. It has been confirmed by the tour group's leader the student was arrested. The Young Pioneer Group is addressing the student's detention arranges tour groups to North Korea. According to a Facebook entry Warmbier is listed to be a student at UVA. The tour group has notified his family, and are communicating ways to have him released.
