K. Michelle Reveals New Body After Butt Enhancements Are Removed (2886 hits)

Singer and reality star, K. Michelle, born Kimberly Michelle Pate, is going against the mainstream to do something unpopular, but needed. Remember back in November when K. Michelle revealed her plans to ditch the butt enhancements for good? Well, she stayed true to her word and recently revealed her newly downsized backside on Instagram.

The “VSOP” singer unveiled her new butt in a photo, which she captioned, “Betsy is smaller, but she still makes a statement. Sometimes less is more. Not finished yet, but feeling liberated getting back to myself.”

For those wondering, what actually happens after a person takes out their butt enhancements or implants, here’s what K. Michelle can expect:

kcakes K. Michelle Reveals New Body After Butt Enhancements Are RemovedIn some cases, plastic surgeons use fat grafting techniques instead of putting in buttock implants. This means that liposuction is done to take fat from one part of the body. The fat is then purified and injected into the buttocks for sculpting and contouring purposes. Buttock augmentation by way of fat grafting is not suitable for everyone who wishes to undergo the cosmetic procedure. Women who have little body fat are not viable candidates for this technique. The body re-absorbs the fat that is injected into it which could lead to an asymmetrical buttock if one cheek absorbs more fat than does the other one. Recovery from buttock implants is generally longer than by way of fat grafting and there is a higher risk of pain and discomfort to cope with.

Once buttock implants are removed and the tissue recovers, everything goes back to baseline (similar to pre-operation) within about 5-6 months. However, there may be circumstances (such as a extensive infection or trauma requiring debridement in addition to simple removal of the implants) where you may have a change in butttock shape or size in the end, but…

… that is quite rare.

Many times there is actually very little to no sagging after removal of buttock implants. Situations where sagging is more likely is when the patient has had relatively large implants placed on top of, instead of under, the gluteus maximus muscle, the patient has had them in for more than five years, and the patient is over 50 years old.

K. Michelle also wants to be able to fit into designer clothes again without having them altered to fit her big booty. “I can’t wear designer clothes. It’s always a problem when it comes to designers, and like when they have to get stuff to fit my body. That’s one thing, I’ve always had a big butt.”
