Karrueche Tran, 27, is single and definitely ready to mingle! However, Chris Brown, 26, doesn’t necessarily want her to mingle with people he knows. The “Post To Be” singer isn’t interested in sharing his ex with other Hollywood men. An insider EXCLUSIVELY revealed to HollywoodLife.com that Chris feels Kae would be royally disrespecting him if she hooked up with guys he knows.
On Aug. 28, a buddy of Chris’ threatened Marques Houston, 34, after he paid Karrueche the highest compliment. “That’s not cool,” the source tells HollywoodLife.com. “That’s incredibly disrespectful to Chris, his image and his manhood. It makes him look like a sucker. There’s an unwritten rule that Karruecheknows and it’s that you don’t mess around with your ex’s friends or associates when you’re broken up.” However, the 27-year-old doesn’t feel the same way.
Karrueche actually thinks Chris is being a hypocrite for not allowing her to see other men even though they’re broken up. “I thought we have all matured and moved on,” the petite model told TMZ. “Especially since Chris has been seen with multiple women since the breakup.” The two have gone through their fair share of post-relationship troubles, seeing as how they didn’t really end things amicably.
Chris and Kae were very much in love at the height of their on-again/off-again relationship. It’s also no secret he singlehandedly launched her Hollywood career and played a huge part in her other business ventures. We’re told Chris is keeping his fingers crossed that Karrueche realizes just who put her on the map. “He put her up on game, got her established, helped her build a name and brand for herself,” the source adds. “She should be thankful and leave it at that.”
