A large victory parade in Moscow celebrated the 70th year since WW2 for Russia's Patriotic War. The large assembly of armed forces marched in front of world leaders such as Russian President Valimir Putin, Chinese President Xj Jinping, President Mukherjee of India and UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and others from 20 countries. Many of the military units dressed in WW2 -era uniforms and marched more as more than 100 aircraft. The staged parade marked the victory 70 years ago ove Nazi Germany against Russia. As many countries leaders but many Western diplomats did not attend with reasons of opposition of relationships of Russian and the Ukraine.
In a opening speech President Putin paid tribute to the Soviet troops during WW2 and gave thanks to Great Britan, France and the United States. Putin stated additionally, "In recent decades the basic principles of international co-operation have been ignored ever more frequently. We see how a military-bloc mentality is gaining momentum." The parade also showed a new, hi tech Armata battle tank with remote controlled gun turrel and reinforced capsule for the crew. With growing increased relationship with China there were also Chinese troops that marched in the parade in for the first time.
