RARE FOG SHOWS IT'S RISE AT THE GRAND CANYON (492 hits)

Your National/World Weather News
Day 11
December 2014
Arizona

A rare weather phenomenon called "total cloud inversion" covered over Arizona's Grand Canyon on Thursday, December 11, 2014. The rare case of fog filled the canyon with smoky vapors rising from the bottom to the top and even having waterfall like tides. The dense fogs followed from cool wet weather that came only days before. The fogs were trapped there most of the day leaving a most breathtaking experience many captured with cameras. The last time such dense fog happened was in 2013. Although it is a rarity to see it does occur at least once in a while. This year's show was spectacular and miraculous to view.
