President Barack Obama has nominated and appointed the empty post of former Attorney General, Eric Holder to Loretta Lynch. Lynch is a first too, being the first African American woman to fill the position. In addition, the Senate has confirmed the position to Ms. Lynch. Ms. Lynch is a native of North Carolina and is a Harvard trained lawyer. The President said "Ms Lynch does not look to make headlines, she looks to make a difference." The President also said that there is no reason her nomination be denied by the entire Senate for the third time. Ms. Lynch has been praised as "tough and fair." Her new position is welcomed by most politicians and public polls.
