Social media has made it easier than ever to connect with people inside the company you want to join. In Part I of this JobsBlog series on how to get noticed by a recruiter, I addressed how to get on a recruiter’s radar. Now we’ll look more specifically at Twitter. Of all the social channels, Twitter may be the most accessible. Whereas on Facebook, people might regard their profiles and followers as more private or personal, Twitter tends to be oriented toward a wider audience.

To increase your chances of getting the attention of a recruiter on Twitter, follow these three tips:

Be strategic about your bio.
