Williams won the U.S. Open on Sunday, September 07, 2014 making her big way into the history books making it her 18th slam. Williams defeated Caroline Wozniacki in two full sets won 6-3, 6-3. In making history she has set the record along with Chris Everett and Martina Naratilnova makes of 18 slams! She was presented a gold bracelet with the number 18 as part of her winnings. Although Williams and Woznaicki are friends the game was definite a win competition. Serena is ranked at top player once more, the other big win was taking home the trophy and 4 million dollars!
