Sean Combs REVOLT TV's "HELLO HARLEM" with Tanisha LaVerne Grant, Cheyney University of Pennsylvania alum (2688 hits)


Last night Cheyney University of Pennsylvania alum and media correspondent Tanisha LaVerne Grant was on the red carpet to cover Sean Combs REVOLT TV's community initiative, "HELLO HARLEM" -a summer series to benefit the BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF HARLEM (BGCH). Over 500 VIPs in business, philanthropy and entertainment gathered at the Studio Museum in Harlem to celebrate the launch.

Tanisha got a chance to chat with some of the special guests which included Hisham Tawfiq (NBC's "The Blacklist" and the BET film "Gunhill"), Micah Hughes (Bravo's "Blood Sweat and Heels") Marc John Jeffries("Losing Isaiah" and "Notorious") Luke James (Grammy nominated Singer-songwriter) others in attendance were Bevy Smith (Bravo's "Fashion Queens"), Kid Capri (Celebrity DJ), Bridget Kelley (artist) , Delisha Milton Jones (New York Liberty)
and more.

Sponsored by AQUAhydrate, The Harlem Brewing Company, Sean John and Ciroc, and supported by Harlem Park to Park, the Hello Harlem launch featured remarks by Kai Wright, REVOLT TV VP of Communications, and Shirley Lewis, BGCH Chair, along with a special presentation by the children of BGCH. The evening also featured a performance by Grammy nominated singer-songwriter LUKE JAMES, who sang Michael Jackson's "The Way You Make Me Feel" as well as hits "Make Love To Me" and the Grammy nominated single, "I Want You."
The "Hello Harlem" summer series will continue July 14- September 8, 2014. The events are invition-only and you must become a donor to attend. For more information, visit www.helloharlem.org.
