INVESTIGATION UNCOVERED HOMELESS LIVING UNDERGROUND (806 hits)

YOUR NATIONAL NEWS
APRIL 2013
Day 9
Kansas City, MO

A routine crime investigation of copper theft led Kansas City officers to undercover a homeless community of underground tunnels. What was discovered were living quarters where evidence showed people were living underground. Several tunnels were deep in the ground and stretched nearly 25 feet.

A local homeless charity representative from Faith Hope Ministries came by to review the site left a news message of their services offered to the homeless. The tunnels showed skilled craftsmanship with some having bedding pods. The area was brought under investigation after several reports of copper theft from a nearby grain meal. Although no persons were in the tunnels during the raid, evidence of copper theft were left out in the open. How long the colony of underground living quarters were there is not known. The areas were closed in and filled by bulldozers.

Those homeless left the area abandoned..
They're not in Kansas anymore.

Pray for the homeless everywhere
