No! It's more and more the reality of debtor's prison which may have some delinquent persons sitting in jail. A most recent case of today took a man in handcuffs to spend a night in jail for owning a debt, and not obeying a summons to court. The case happened in Baltimore County in Towson, Md. When a man was arrested in such a case of failure to show for a court summons. The alleged victim of the absent court date was placed in handcuffs and lead away to a night of incarceration, Although the state of Maryland will arrest non debt payers, the fear of debtor's prison may be on it's way to a huge return and ripple it's way across the U.S. Thousands of debts are owed, but with the lack of job, money and basic survival of paying for food and shelter it's may be very likely that the prison doors will have a sound closing on them. Along with paying a debt the one who owes may also be responsible for a bail out and additional court costs.
