After decades of worrying with a growing population, now the Golden State of California has a new challenge to having fewer babies. According to a recent media story the number of California babies born begn dropping in 2007. Demographers in the region said they are uncertain to the cause for fewer births, but feel economic growth and gains may be a reason. Couples in California are waiting to have children and are deciding to having fewer or; no children at all. The statewide fertility rate has dropped below 2.1 in a lifetime. This replaces the population to 1.94 children. Another reason for population baby decline has been noted to fewer babies are in short supply with couples of child-bearing ages of 20 to 30 years. Most people are thinking about children also born in poverty, with education issues and fewer resources for opportunities for future generations. Most parents are saying they want more, but find it's more they " can't afford more children."
This report did not mentionchildren/ or babies for up foradoption, but approached those couples in child producing ages.
DOES THIS MEAN THERE'LL BE FEWER CALIFORNIA BABES? ~(o~o)~ BABY! bABY..I LOVE YOU! GOTTA HAVE YA BABY!
