This might be the one that ends the second coming of the troubled Flavor Flav. The rapper has been arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, according to law enforcement sources and the website, TMZ.com.
Flavor, whose real name is William Drayton Jr. is accused of getting into a nasty argument with a woman in his house, as well as a teenager. The woman is believed to be his fiancee, but it’s not clear if the teenager was his child. Flav is accused of threatening one person with a knife and beating the other one.
Flavor was taken to jail at 3 am on Tuesday night, and is being charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon, along with misdemeanor domestic violence. He is being held on $23,000 bail.
Flavor rose to prominence with the group, “Public Enemy,” selling millions of albums world-wide. He later had troubles with drug addiction, but got a second chance at stardom with the emergence of reality TV. Since then, Flavor has had a few run-ins with the law, and doesn’t seem able to find the success he once had in the past.
