yes I still got the eagle eye for with the 100 round drum m4 the recoil on a 223 doesn't amount to ****. I think a 15 year old should be able to handle it just fine. Of course I'm kind of a big guy so results may vary. Anyway, if you can find an original Colt, i'd buy it because of the collector value. However those are really hard to find and tend to be very expensive so I'd say go with the Bushy. I love mine
