SERENA WILLIAMS TAKES TOUGH ODDS TO WINNING! (1379 hits)

It's been a long training time and a tough 10 months, but Serena Williams had tougher determination to take home the winning cup. Williams plunged through odds of her recent heatlh battles with pulmonary embolism to a graceful victory. The 30 year old dropped out for a while to have surgery and came back with a winning vest for tennis play. On Sunday July 8, 2012, at Wimbledon Serena defeated Angiezka Radwanska of Polland. This latest title gives her 5 title wins and equals her sister Venus. Many were skeptic that Serena would have trouble finding her winning status once more, but she proved to be a great champion beating tough odds to winning!

"I'm the one out there and I make my own destiny."--Serena Williams

Congrats! She's a true champ indeed.
